Bhagavad Gita 5.11

Chapter 5 · The Yoga of Renunciation

Yogis, having abandoned attachment, perform actions only by the body, mind, intellect, and even by the senses, for the purification of the self.

Context

Yogis use their body, mind, intellect, and senses for action, but having abandoned attachment, their purpose is self-purification. Every task becomes a means of inner cleansing when done without selfish motive. This transforms ordinary work into spiritual practice.
