Last updated: September 11, 2026

Gita Daily ("we", "us") is a mobile app for reading the Bhagavad Gita. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app, and we never sell your data.

Information we collect

The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not collect your contacts, location, photos, or precise identifiers.

How we use your information

Where your data is stored

Account data and saved content are stored using Supabase (authentication and database) and processed by our backend hosted on Railway. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and may store data on servers outside your country.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with the infrastructure providers named above, strictly to run the service, and where required by law.

Your choices & your rights

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Children

Gita Daily is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reputable providers and standard safeguards (including encrypted connections) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
