When the Lord (as the individual soul) obtains a body and when He leaves it, He takes these and goes (with them) as the wind takes the scents from their seats (flowers, etc.).
When the soul leaves one body and takes another, it carries the mind and senses along like wind carrying scent from flowers. Death isn't annihilation—it's transition, with your inner instruments traveling with you.
