हे परन्तप भारत ! इच्छा और द्वेष से उत्पन्न द्वन्द्वमोह से भूतमात्र उत्पत्ति काल में ही संमोह (अविवेक) को प्राप्त होते हैं

From birth, all beings fall into delusion through the duality of desire and aversion. These twin reactions to experience create the veil that hides reality. Wanting and not-wanting keep the mind churning, preventing clear seeing. Peace comes when this duality subsides.
जन्म से, सभी प्राणी इच्छा और द्वेष की द्वैत से मोह में गिरते हैं। अनुभव के प्रति ये जुड़वां प्रतिक्रियाएं वह पर्दा बनाती हैं जो वास्तविकता छुपाता है। चाहना और न चाहना मन को मथते रहते हैं, स्पष्ट देखने से रोकते हैं। शांति तब आती है जब यह द्वैत शांत होता है
जन्मैदेखि सबै प्राणी इच्छा र द्वेषको द्वन्द्वमा फसेर मोहमा पर्छन्। अनुभवप्रतिको यी जुम्ल्याहा प्रतिक्रियाहरूले वास्तविकतालाई ढाक्ने पर्दा बनाउँछन्। चाहना र न-चाहनाले मनलाई निरन्तर मथिरहन्छ र स्पष्ट दृष्टिलाई रोक्छ। यो द्वन्द्व शान्त हुँदा मात्र शान्ति प्राप्त हुन्छ
