Bhagavad Gita 5.13

Chapter 5 · The Yoga of Renunciation

Mentally renouncing all actions and self-controlled, the embodied one rests happily in the nine-gated city, neither acting nor causing others (body and senses) to act.

Context

The self-controlled person mentally renounces all actions and rests happily in the body—the 'nine-gated city'—neither acting nor causing action from ego. This is internal renunciation: your body continues functioning, but you've stepped back from the illusion of being the doer.
