Bhagavad Gita 2.57

Chapter 2 · The Yoga of Knowledge

He who is everywhere without attachment, on meeting with anything good or bad, who neither rejoices not hastes, his wisdom is fixed.

Context

Without excessive attachment anywhere, neither rejoicing at good nor hating bad—such a person's wisdom is established. This isn't coldness or indifference; it's stability. You can engage fully with life without being tossed around by every pleasant or unpleasant experience.
