Flowery speech is uttered by the unwise, taking pleasure in the eulogising words of the Vedas, O Arjuna, saying, "There is nothing else."
The unwise speak flowery words, delighting in Vedic rituals, saying 'there is nothing else.' Krishna critiques those who get lost in religious performance without understanding the deeper purpose. Being attached to the outer form of spirituality—rituals, words, ceremonies—can become its own trap.
