देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा | तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति
Just as in this body the embodied (soul) passes into childhood, youth and old age, so also does it pass into another body; the firm man does not grieve thereat.
जैसे इस देह में देही जीवात्मा की कुमार, युवा और वृद्धावस्था होती है, वैसे ही उसको अन्य शरीर की प्राप्ति होती है; धीर पुरुष इसमें मोहित नहीं होता है
जसरी यो शरीरमा देही आत्माले बाल्यकाल, यौवन र वृद्धावस्था प्राप्त गर्छ, त्यसै गरी उसले अर्को शरीर पनि प्राप्त गर्छ। धीर पुरुष यसमा मोहित हुँदैन
Just as the soul passes through childhood, youth, and old age in this body, so it passes to another body at death. The wise are not disturbed by this. We already accept constant change within one lifetime—why should the transition called 'death' be different? The self that witnesses all changes remains unchanged.
जैसे आत्मा इस शरीर में बचपन, जवानी और बुढ़ापे से गुजरती है, वैसे ही मृत्यु पर दूसरे शरीर में जाती है। धीर इससे विचलित नहीं होते। हम एक जीवनकाल में निरंतर बदलाव स्वीकारते ही हैं—'मृत्यु' नामक संक्रमण अलग क्यों हो? सब परिवर्तनों को देखने वाला आत्मा अपरिवर्तित रहता है
जसरी आत्मा यही शरीरमा बालपन, यौवन र वृद्धावस्थाबाट गुज्रन्छ, त्यसैगरी मृत्युपछि अर्को शरीरमा जान्छ। धीर पुरुषहरू यसबाट विचलित हुँदैनन्। हामी त एउटै जीवनकालमा निरन्तर परिवर्तन स्वीकार्छौं नै—त्यसो भए “मृत्यु” भनिने संक्रमण किन फरक होस्? सबै परिवर्तनहरूलाई देख्ने साक्षी आत्मा भने अपरिवर्तित रहन्छ
