विधिहीनमसृष्टान्नं मन्त्रहीनमदक्षिणम् | श्रद्धाविरहितं यज्ञं तामसं परिचक्षते
They declare that sacrifice to be Tamasic which is contrary to the ordinances of the scriptures, in which no food is distributed, which is devoid of Mantras, gifts and faith.
शास्त्रविधि से रहित, अन्नदान से रहित, बिना मन्त्रों, बिना दक्षिणा और बिना श्रद्धा के किये हुए यज्ञ को तामस यज्ञ कहते हैं
शास्त्रविधिविहीन, अन्नदानरहित, मन्त्रहीन, दक्षिणारहित र श्रद्धाशून्य भई गरिएको यज्ञलाई तामस यज्ञ भनिन्छ
Tamasic worship ignores proper method, gives nothing, involves no sacred words or offerings, and lacks faith. Going through empty motions without heart or understanding accomplishes nothing.
तामसिक यज्ञ उचित विधि की अनदेखी करता है, कुछ नहीं देता, कोई पवित्र शब्द या अर्पण नहीं होता, और श्रद्धा का अभाव होता है। बिना हृदय या समझ के खाली गतियां करना कुछ नहीं पूरा करता
तामसिक यज्ञमा उचित विधिको ख्याल नगरिन्छ, केही दिइँदैन, मन्त्र वा अर्पण हुँदैन, र श्रद्धा पनि हुँदैन। हृदय र समझ बिना गरिने खोक्रो कर्मले केही उपलब्धि हासिल हुँदैन
