Bhagavad Gita 11.29

Chapter 11 · The Cosmic Vision

As moths hurriedly rush into a blazing fire for (their own) destruction, so also these creatures hurriedly rush into Thy mouths for (their own) destruction.

Context

Like moths rushing into blazing fire for destruction, these beings rush into Krishna's mouths for destruction. Another natural image of fatal attraction—creatures drawn irresistibly to what destroys them. The cosmic force that creates also consumes.
