कस्माच्च ते न नमेरन्महात्मन् गरीयसे ब्रह्मणोऽप्यादिकर्त्रे | अनन्त देवेश जगन्निवास त्वमक्षरं सदसत्तत्परं यत्
And why should they not, O great Soul, bow to Thee Who art greater (than all else), the primal cause even of the Creator (Brahma), O Infinite Being, O Lord of the gods, O Abode of the universe; Thou art the imperishable, the Being, the non-being and That which is the supreme (that which is beyond the Being and the non-being).
हे महात्मन् ! ब्रह्मा के भी आदि कर्ता और सबसे श्रेष्ठ आपके लिए वे कैसे नमस्कार नहीं करें? (क्योंकि) हे अनन्त! हे देवेश! हे जगन्निवास! जो सत् असत् और इन दोनों से परे अक्षरतत्त्व है, वह आप ही हैं
हे महात्मन्! ब्रह्माका पनि आदिकर्ता र सबैभन्दा श्रेष्ठ तपाईंलाई उनीहरू किन नमस्कार नगर्नु? हे अनन्त! हे देवेश! हे जगन्निवास! जो सत्, असत् र यी दुवैभन्दा परको अक्षरतत्त्व छ, त्यो तपाईं आफै हुनुहुन्छ
Why shouldn't beings bow to Krishna, who is greater than Brahma the creator, infinite, Lord of gods, universe's dwelling? The rhetorical question establishes hierarchy: even the creator is created. The ultimate source deserves ultimate reverence.
प्राणी कृष्ण को क्यों न झुकें, जो सृष्टिकर्ता ब्रह्मा से भी महान, अनंत, देवों के ईश्वर, ब्रह्मांड के निवास हैं? अलंकारिक प्रश्न पदानुक्रम स्थापित करता है: सृष्टिकर्ता भी सृजित है। परम स्रोत परम श्रद्धा का पात्र है
